Res Strehle, born in 1951, was editor-in-chief of the Swiss Tages-Anzeiger, and has followed Harald Naegeli's work for decades as a journalist. He has published numerous non-fiction titles (most recently Operation Crypto. Switzer- land in the Service of the CIA and BND). He is on the Reporters Without Borders advisory board and was president of the Swiss journalism school MAZ in Lucerne until late 2022. A former Economics major, he lives in Zurich and Spain/Catalonia, and has an adult son.
