Melissa Müller, born in Vienna, is an author, scriptwriter and journalist. Her book Anne Frank: The Biography has been translated into more than 25 languages, and the film adaptation has garnered multiple Emmys. Until the Final Hour: Hitlerʾs Last Secretary, co-written with Traudl Junge, was on the Spiegel bestseller list for over a year, and led to the Oscar-nominated film Downfall. She published Picassoʾs Hairdresser: The Story of a Friendship, a collaboration with Monika Czernin, with Diogenes in 2023.
