Sarah Pines
Sarah Pines grew up in Bonn and the Saarland, studied Literature in Cologne and at Stanford, and was awarded her doctorate in Düsseldorf for her thesis on Baudelaire. She writes for the cultural pages of Die Zeit, Die Welt and NZZ. Pines lives in New York and works as a freelance writer. The Patriarch is her debut novel.
