The little roaring tiger was a happy creature. He spent his days clambering along the boughs of trees or leaping after butterflies, and every evening he would stand on a rocky ridge and roar. It was only a small roar – for the little roaring tiger was not much bigger than a cat – but as it echoed away through the Sosnowitzer forest, it sounded more and more alarming. One day the little roaring tiger decided to go out into the world and frighten everyone with his roars. But the first people he met were not as friendly as he expected them to be.
