Peter Rüedi, born in Basel in 1943, is a literary scholar and journalist and has worked with and on Dürrenmatt for over 40 years. He was also the dramaturge of the world premiere of Dürrenmatt's last play, ›Achterloo‹ (1983) in Zurich. Peter Rüedi lives in Tremona/Ticino.
