Uli Krappen, born in Krefeld Uerdingen in 1961, worked as a stewardess before studying at the Seeger Art School in Munich and then the Bavarian Academy for Photography. She illustrates children's books, creates porcelain and stationery and lives in Marburg and southern France as a painter and illustrator.
